Membership is by invitation of current members and is open to African Christian theologians and church workers with a commitment to deepening the impact of the gospel on African society through scholarly reflection, interaction and writing with potential for application in context. Members identify with the ATF Mission Statement. Non-Africans with a similar commitment to Africa and working in Africa may join as associate members of the ATF. Membership fees are determined by each sub-region.
